Water Supply for November and December 2011

The length of time that water will be available in November and December will be determined by the demand of the growers within the District's service area. As in the past, water will be delivered on a first-come, first-served basis until the supply has been depleted. The price will be $7.00 per a.f. for all water used on in-District ground, and $31.00 per a.f. for water delivered to Class II lands, on an "if and when available" basis.

We are again being required to dewater Mendota Pool in order to inspect Mendota Dam. We plan to begin dewatering on November 15th. Even if we have a water supply available, water will be available for most areas south of Los Banos for only a few days after dewatering starts.
